Yeah, still at least the likes of CDKeys and SimplyGames bring the discounts on that front.
I agree to some extent, but the fact is that music and movie are also adapting much more fluidly to the new downloadable/streaming competition, and embracing it. Games, meanwhile, are kinda stumbling. Even the best games streaming services are either too pricey or too laggy, while prices are going up, not down, to reflect the lack of packaging etc.
I think it's a bit more complex than that. AFAIK they *are* the Irish HMV, but now they ship to the mainland and have a UK store as well...
My head hurts.
Erm, not quite. They're making a drama about **DEVELOPING** Grand Theft Auto.

This is a very poorly researched article indeed.
At this price, probably. Can't see it getting this cheap even pre-owned after launch.
Yeah:
"Third party DRM: Steam
This game requires a free Steam account to play."
PC, PS4 and Xbox One AFAIK.
That's ridiculous. Can't see it being much cheaper than that for a while.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Hate myself, but couldn't stop myself.
You'll come crawling back if it does happen though, and I'll pretend I seriously called it. :P
Never mind, there are loads of non-AAA games coming out. Everything from The Tomorrow Children to The Witness, Until Dawn and Everybody's Gone to the rapture. Really exciting unique stuff, a true breadth of software.
They'll get their time to shine, and it's a chance for us to play something new too.
Oh, and there'll still be all the multiplats.
It was originally announced for "2015." Not technically a date, but definitely a delay.
" I was looking forward to playing it this fall.. "
You and me both, it was one of my main reasons for picking up a PS4 this year (though Bloodborne was reason #1).
"Where are all these delay articles coming from?"
The internet. And plenty of somewhat irate PS4 owners, I'm guessing.
Plus Crackdown and Scalebound, though I wouldn't be surprised if either or both of these end up delayed - perhaps to counter UC4.
You've got to figure that Sony has something in the bag.
Hell, I'll be the one to say it...
The Last Guardian. E3 reveal, November release.
Okay, sorry.
"Also, slow-clap for that sub-title"
One for the Zelda fans :P
Odd little game, definitely not one to prioritise IMO, but could be good for the summer.
Passion and skill > fat marketing budgets and DRM. Who knew! :P
It's a bargain to be sure. Shows how differently EA and PDX approach development and publishing - SimCity charged a ridiculous amount for a restrictive experience, whereas Skylines offers much more for much less.
I know which one I'd prefer!
Oh hell yes, about time. Been excited about this for ages, glad to see that someone's seen the gap in the market left by SimCity's botched attempt (sad as Maxis' closure is).
Ah, that would be cool. Probably won't be a dealbreaker for me, though, despite Kiefer's offputting drawl.
The amount that publishers try to chisel from us with pre-order 'bonuses' and incentives is nothing less insulting when you think about it. Ripping bits out of the game, then trying to flog it back to us before we even know if the game is worth a damn!
"I hardly pre-order games anymore, and wait for the deals to roll in" Too right.
